The Rookley Country Park logoRookley Country Park is a great place for those who like to combine a caravan or luxury bungalow holiday with touring the Isle of Wight and enjoying a few days pleasure fishing. It is also ideal for anglers who simply want to go for the big carp whilst enjoying more comfort and facilities than a bivvie can provide.

Situated in the centre of the island, Rookley is an easy drive to any of the islands many attractions and beaches whilst on site there is virtually everything you could want for a relaxing angling holiday or break.

The bar/restaurant at Rookley Country ParkThe park's bar and restaurant (right) offer a wide selection of wines, spirits and beers and serve a choice of snacks and meals from sandwiches to steak with all the trimmings. There is also a Daily Specials board which supplements the menu and a choice of meals for children.

Adjacent to the restaurant is a children's games room whilst outside a large decking area where you can enjoy a quiet drink or meal away from the main seating area overlooks the lakes.

A great attraction for the young at heart is Rookley Park's new Midnight Bar nightclub which also offers nightly entertainment.

The inside swimming pool at Rookley Country ParkIn addition to the good-sized heated indoor swimming pool there is a smaller outdoor pool for use in hot weather, whilst nearby is a small but well-equipped children's play area.

Those who fancy it can try their skill on Rookley's Country Park's own nine-hole pitch and putt course, a crazy golf course or in good weather enjoy a leisurely picnic in the quieter grassy meadows which form part of the park's 20-acre site.
