Eden Vale Lake in Westbury, Wiltshire

A well stocked five acre lake with good access and excellent fishing, although it is said to have a snaggy bottom. Species include carp averaging about 4lbs with some running to just under 20lbs, bream and tench to about 5lbs, plus roach and perch. Waggler and feeder both work well here. Maggots, casters and worms for quality roach and skimmers. Boilies and bigger baits for the carp.

Anglers should note that Eden Vale is operated by the Eden Vale Angling Association and that day ticket are only available on weekdays, unless accompanied by a season ticket member on weekends. Season tickets also available for all round fishing. Day tickets can be purchased at The Railway Inn opposite lake.
